RACE FAQ's

  • We have a strict no refund policy.  Our registration platform does offer optional race insurance at the time of event registration. This insurance does protect the runner in certain situation. Those refund requests need to be made through your race roster registration account. If you did not purchase insurance we do offer 2 transfer options. 

    • RACE TO RACE TRANSFER: If you are more than 30 days out from your originally scheduled event, we will transfer your race registration to any of our other races within a 12 month period of the race you are missing. If you encounter this situation, please EMAIL us at info@enduranceraceseries.com to receive additional transfer details.

    • 50% OFF YOUR NEXT RACE: If you are inside the 30-day window of your registered event, we no longer allow race to race transfers, but we will be able offer you a 50% off discount code to use at another race. Please email us at info@enduranceraceseries.com to receive this code. 

  • We know a number of our runners are novice or new trail runners, and that time/mile can be longer in most circumstances. So we offer a generous 4-hour time limit for half marathon distances for each race. In regard to events that offer longer distances (50K or 20-mile options), we have adjusted those time limits, and suggest you visit that webpage for this information.

  • Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 males and females in each of the 7 age group categories for both the Half Marathon and 10k races. We offer the following age groups in each races:
     

    • 19 years and under

    • 20-29 years of age

    • 30-39 years of age

    • 40-49 years of age

    • 50-59 years of age

    • 60-69 Years of Age

    • 70+ Years of Age

     

    Please note, that this does NOT apply for the 5K distance.

  • Grey Area... Due to safety concerns, we prefer you, do NOT use music players or accessories during the races. If someone tries to pass you while listening to music it causes safety issues for both parties. If you are one of those runners that can't live without music while you run, then we ask to be courteous to other runners and listen to your music at a lower volume so you can hear your surroundings.

  • Yes. As long as the event has not been sold out online, the Endurance Race Series does offer race day and packet pick-up registration at ALL events. Race day registration opens 1 hour prior to start of the race. In the circumstance online registration is closed due to selling out, then we will not offer this option. PLease check online registration prior to arriving onsite the morning of the event. 

  • Yes. You may upgrade or downgrade your race at any time leading up to the respective race. If upgrading, we will ask for a $30 upgrade fee (10K to Half) or $15 (5K to 10K) at the time of upgrade, but do not offer any refund for downgrading a race distance.  Upgrades or downgrades can be done by emailing the ERS, or through your Race Roster registration account. 

  • The Endurance Race Series does have official time limits on the course, and will keep the course and finish area open until the last runner crosses the finish. If you feel like you are slower runner or need to walk, we do allow runners to begin 30 min or 60 min early based on the race course. If you are one of those runners/participants you will keep track of your own time and report it to the timing company upon finish of the race. 

  • Each aid station will consist of water and sports drink, along with energy gels and chews (or something of the sort).

  • No. We apologize but runners are not permitted to run with their dogs, even leashed, during any of the Endurance Race Series events. Reasons being amount of runners, type of terrain, and other added complications.

  • Yes and No. We are only able to allow strollers at the following races (all course distances)... Westminster, Louisville, and Coast to Crest. These races offer a wider, less technical course, while all other races have more single track trails or are more technical in nature.  

  • It's all about safety first. In a natural disaster circumstance, the ERS and the permitting municipality will make a decision based on park or trail impact and participant safety. Race dates and courses will be adjusted as seen fit. Runners will be transferred to the rescheduled date at no charge. If a runner cannot make the new race date, they will have be given the choice of transferring the registration to another race within the series. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. The runner understands the risk of his or her own entry fee.
